This policy explains how Synergetic Ventures LLC, doing business as BuildTipoff, 160 W Camino Real #1172, Boca Raton, FL 33432, handles information.

Information from subscribers and visitors

  • When you request a territory or subscribe: your name, business, email, phone, trade and ZIP codes.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
  • If you give us a webhook URL, postcard offer or website, we store those to deliver your plan.
  • Basic technical logs from our hosting provider, such as IP address and pages requested, kept for security and reliability.

We use this to deliver your leads, bill you, support you and improve the service. We do not sell subscriber information. We share it only with the providers that run BuildTipoff (Stripe for billing, Resend and Microsoft for email, Vercel for hosting, and a print vendor for postcards) and when the law requires it.

Public records about properties and owners

BuildTipoff compiles information that governments publish, such as building permits, facade and parking structure filings, violations and property records. These records can include a property owner's name and mailing address. We use them to tell contractors which properties have work coming, and we require subscribers to contact owners only by lawful means. We do not collect or provide homeowner cell phone numbers.

Owner opt-out: if you own a property and do not want it included in BuildTipoff lead lists or postcard mailings, email hello@buildtipoff.com with the address. We will suppress it from future lists and mailings within 10 business days. The underlying public record stays with the government agency that publishes it.

Cookies

The BuildTipoff site does not use advertising cookies. Stripe sets cookies on its own checkout and billing pages to process payments securely.

Retention and security

We keep subscriber records while you are a customer and as long as needed for billing, tax and legal purposes afterward. Data is stored with reputable providers using encryption in transit.

Your choices

You can update or cancel your subscription in the billing portal, and you can ask us to access, correct or delete your subscriber information by emailing hello@buildtipoff.com.
